Connecting YouTube to Carl for Social
Open the Carl for Social app.
Tap Connect Accounts and select YouTube.
Log in with your Gmail account used for YouTube.
That’s it! Your YouTube account is now connected, and you’re ready to start managing your channel content within the app.
Connecting TikTok to Carl for Social
Open the Carl for Social app.
Tap Connect Accounts and select TikTok.
Log in as you usually do for TikTok.
If you’re unsure how you typically log in to TikTok, try this tip:
On an iPhone, go to Settings, search for Passwords, then look up TikTok. This will show your saved login method for TikTok.
Once logged in, your TikTok account will connect seamlessly.
Connecting Instagram to Carl for Social
Connecting Instagram takes a few more steps since it needs a professional setup through Meta, which owns both Instagram and Facebook. Follow these steps, and we’ll guide you all the way!
Step 1: Set Up a Professional or Creator Account on Instagram
Make sure your Instagram account is either a Professional or Creator account. For detailed instructions on setting this up, see this article here.
Step 2: Link Instagram to Meta Business Suite
Since Instagram and Facebook are both owned by Meta, Instagram needs to be linked to Meta Business Suite.
To connect Instagram with Meta Business Suite, follow these instructions here.
Step 3: Connect Instagram to Carl for Social
Open Carl for Social, tap Connect Accounts, and select Instagram.
A prompt to log in to Facebook will appear—this might seem odd, but it’s required as Instagram is linked through Meta.
Log in with your Facebook credentials as usual, select the Instagram account you want to connect, and you’re set!
