We’d like to help you understand what happens when you click on a collaboration request in the app. The process is designed to be as simple as possible, and we’ll guide you through each step. Here’s what to expect. 😎
1. Apply for Collaboration
By clicking Apply on the brand you’re interested in, you’ll begin the request process. The number of active requests you can have at once depends on your subscription (FREE, START, PRO).
FREE: You can have only 1 active request.
START: You can have 2 active requests.
PRO: You can have unlimited active requests.
Additionally, there are "FREE to apply" brands, which you can apply for at any time, regardless of your plan. These requests don’t count toward your active request limit. 👍
Once you submit the request, your profile will go through validation.
2. Autovalidation (1st Validation Phase)
Your request is checked against basic requirements like your market, follower count, and engagement rate. If your profile meets the minimum criteria, you’ll move to the next phase. 💪
Estimated time: 0-24 hrs
3. Carl validates (2nd Validation Phase)
In this phase, we focus on your content and its relevance to the brand. This is when we take a closer look at the quality of your posts and videos to ensure they align with the brand’s values and needs. 🎥✨
Estimated time: 14-30 days
4. Brand review
If you pass the validation, your request moves to "Brand review". The brand now evaluates whether your profile is a good fit for their current campaign or if you may be considered for a future one. This step can take some time as the brand assesses how well you align with their values and campaign goals. 🤔
Estimated time: 7-14 days
5. Outcome
After reviewing your request, the brand will notify you with one of the following statuses:
You're in – You’ve been selected for collaboration! 🎉
So close – The brand didn’t select you, but you can try again later. 🙌
Maybe later – The brand didn’t select you at this moment, but it might happen in the future. 😊
If you’re not selected, don’t worry! You can reapply after some time. 😉
Applications closed
If you see the "Applications closed" status, it means the brand is no longer accepting requests. You can reapply once the applications open again. 🔓
